Ingredients required for Keto Cheesy Asparagus Casserole

   2 bunches asparagus

   1 tbsp. butter

  1/2 oz. cream cheese softened

 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

 1 tbsp. chicken broth

 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning

 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

 1/4 tsp. paprika

 1/8 tsp. salt

 1/8 tsp. pepper

 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

 1/8 cup pepper jack cheese, grated

 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated

 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

 1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

How to prepare Cheesy Asparagus Casserole Keto Recipe

1    Firstly preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

2   Then wash the asparagus and trim it.

3  Take a 9 X 13 baking pan and grease it with melted butter.

4  Take a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter to it.

5  When melted in the butter add softened cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.  And whisk it continuously till all ingredients are fully combined.

6  Then keep the flame low and make the sauce simmer carefully till heavy whipping cream has thickened.

7  Keep whisking continuously for a few minutes.

8  Once it has thickened well add parmesan and pepper jack cheese and then continue to stir till the cheese melts well and the sauce is smooth.

9  Now pour the cheese sauce over asparagus into the middle of the casserole dish and then sprinkle mozzarella cheese and crushed red pepper flakes.

10 Bake it for 15 to 20 minutes.

11  Then remove it from the oven and add bacon crumbles on top and bake it for 5 minutes more.

12  Enjoy your dish.
