Pizza chaffles are a tasty twist on traditional pizza. These savoury waffles use cheese and eggs to make the base and then topped with Italian seasoning, marinara sauce, cheese and pepperoni to create a delicious pizza-style dish. This easy recipe is a great way to bring some fun to dinner time.

Craving pizza but can’t eat it right away? Why not give chaffles a try? Chaffles are a combination of egg, cheese and flour that you bake in a waffle maker. They are an easy substitute for regular pizza dough & can be easily frozen for up to 4-6 month periods if you don’t want to eat them all at once! Making pizza chaffles is the perfect way to get your pizza fixed without having to worry about the dough going bad.

Ingredients required for Keto Pizza Chaffle:

1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

1. large Egg 

2 tbsp. Almond flour (or 2. tsp. coconut flour)

1/2 tsp. psyllium husk powder 

1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning 

 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder

 1/4 tsp. Baking powder (optional)

TOPPING:

3 tbsps. Marinara sauce

 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

1/2 oz. Mini pepperoni slices



How to prepare Keto Pizza Chaffle:

1    Chaffles are a delicious and easy way to enjoy pizza flavours with a twist! To make pizza chaffles, First preheat your oven to Broil, & then preheat your mini waffle iron for 4-5 minutes until it’s hot. 

2    To make this delicious recipe, all you need is mozzarella cheese, eggs, almond flour, psyllium husk powder, Italian seasoning garlic powder and baking powder. Simply mix these in a medium bowl & your pizza chaffle is ready to be cooked!

 3    Heat a mini waffle maker until it’s hot, then carefully pour half of the chaffle batter into it. Close the lid and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. And there you have it – delicious Pizza Chaffles!

 4    Once the chaffle is done cooking, place it on a baking sheet. Top with your favourite marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices. 

 5    For a melty, cheesy pizza chaffle, place it 6 inches away from the broiler in your oven and bake for 2-3 minutes. Once the cheese is nicely melted and slightly browned, your delicious pizza chaffle is ready to enjoy!
