Ingredients required for Keto Shrimp Scampi:

   1 1/4 pounds of large or jumbo shrimp deveined, shelled with tails on

   Half a teaspoon of salt or to taste

   1/4 teaspoon of black pepper or to taste

  4 Garlic cloves, minced

  1/4 cup of unsalted butter

  2 Tablespoons of olive oil

  2 Tablespoons of lemon juice

  1/4 cup of dry white wine

  1/4 cup of fresh chopped parsley

  3 Tablespoons of parmesan cheese

  1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional)

How to prepare Keto Shrimp Scampi:

1    Heat a large skillet on the stovetop over medium-high heat & add in the butter and olive oil. 

2   Add the garlic and sauté for approximately 30 seconds before adding the shrimp to the pan.

3   Then add the shrimp and generously season it with salt and pepper.

4   Sauté for about one minute until pink before adding the dry white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for another minute or two to reduce the liquid, and then serve with your favourite keto-friendly side dish!

5   Turn the heat off and then stir in the parmesan cheese. Make sure to mix the shrimp’ evenly, coating each piece with the cheese. 

6   Garnish with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes (optional), and serve hot.
