Ingredients required for Meatball Sub On Stick Recipe:
Keto marinara sauce or any other sugar-free marinara sauce
Grated Italian cheese or provolone cheese
Meatballs
½ lb ground beef
2 tbsp Almond flour
¼ small onions
1 clove garlic
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley
2 tbsp Keto marinara sauce
¾
tsp sea salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp. spicy
1 egg
Sub Buns
⅓ Cup Almond flour
¼ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Half cup grated mozzarella
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. onion powder
One pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg divided
½ tsp. vinegar
How to prepare Keto Meatball Sub on a Stick Recipe:
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius).
2 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3 In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, Italian seasoning, and oregano.
4 Mix well until combined.
5 Roll the mixture into 1/2-inch balls.
6 Place the balls onto the prepared baking sheet.
7 Bake for 15 minutes.
8 Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
Sub Buns:
1. Take a microwave bowl and add the almond flour, grated mozzarella, baking powder, baking soda, onion powder, garlic powder and sea salt and mix it well till well combined.
2. Microwave it for 35 to 40 seconds.
3. Then add one beaten egg and set it aside.
4. And add the rest of the egg into the dough and knead it well.
5. We have to sprinkle vinegar over the dough and fold it a few times.
6. Then divide the dough into two portions and then form each into a log that is roughly 5 1/2″ long.
7. Put this onto a prepared baking sheet and brush it with beaten egg and bake it for 10 to 12 minutes till the tops are golden brown.
8. Let the bun cool for a few minutes.
Assemble
1. Gently slice the buns into half in a horizontal shape.
2. Around the meatballs toss the marinara sauce and then place 3 meatballs inside each sub bun.
3. Top the meatballs with ¼ cup Italian cheese.
4. Enjoy this relish dish.
