French Croque Madame. A croquet madame is traditionally a sandwich made with ham, in a brioche-like bread, and topped with grated cheese, seasoned with salt and pepper and then the Croque sandwich is then buttered and baked or fried.

It does not look enjoyable, but each bite is a taste experience. Today we experience like relish this easy but tasty French dish.

 

Ingredients required for Keto Madame Croque Sandwich:

6 Chaffles (3 Eggs & 1 & 1/2 cups of grated cheese)

6 Slices of Ham (thick-cut or deli-style works)

3/4 cup Heavy Cream

1/3 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 & 1/3 cup Shredded Gruyere Cheese (divided)

6 Eggs

2 tbsp. Butter

Salt & Pepper

 

How to prepare Keto French Croque Madame:

1   In the first step, preheat our oven to 200C.

2   Now we have to make six chaffless by adding three beaten eggs and 1 cup of cheese together and stirring well till well combined.

3   Now take a waffle maker add a few tablespoons of mixture and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

4   We have to place cooked chaffless on parchment paper and place it on a baking sheet.

5    Now we add two tablespoons of sauce on the top of the chaffle.

6    We have to add a slice of ham and top with a few tablespoons of remaining shredded Gruyere cheese.

7   Now bake it for 10 to 15 minutes or till the cheese are melted well.

8   While it is baking we have to fry six eggs in the butter and top with each baked chaffle.
