Ingredients required for Low-Fat German Chocolate Cake
For the cake
2 cups almond flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
One cup butter softened
8large eggs
1tablespoon liquid stevia
1teaspoon vanilla extract
For the frosting Low-Fat German Chocolate Cake
2 cups evaporated milk
Two teaspoons of xanthan gum
2 cups granulated sweetener of choice
6 egg yolks
1cup butter
1teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups shredded unsweetened coconut
2cups pecans roughly chopped
How to prepare Low-Fat German Chocolate Cake:
1 Take two 8-inch cake pans and grease it with melted butter and set it aside and preheat your oven to 180C.
2 Take a large bowl and add all the dry ingredients and mix well.
3 I took another bowl and add melted butter, beaten eggs, stevia, and vanilla extract and stir well till well combined.
4 Carefully fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients till thick batter forms.
5 Distribute the cake batter into two pans and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean.
6 Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Frosting: Low-Fat German Chocolate Cake
1 Take a saucepan adds milk, and xanthan gum and stir well till well combined.
2 Then add sweetener, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla extract and bring it to simmer.
3 When it starts boiling remove it from the heat and add coconut and pecans.
4 Let the frosting cool for 1 hour at least.
5 Then place cooled cakes on a flat surface.
6 Spread the frosting layer before adding the second layer.
7 Spread the frosting all over it and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
8 Cut into slices and enjoy!
